Usage Keeper is a Chrome extension that tracks your Claude AI usage limits. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we access and how we handle it.

Data We Access

Usage Keeper reads your Claude usage data by making authenticated requests to claude.ai using your existing browser session. This is the same request your browser already makes when you visit your Claude settings page.

Data We Store

All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage. Your usage data never leaves your browser and is never transmitted to any external server.

Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect any personal information
• We do not track your conversations or activity on Claude
• We do not sell, share, or transmit any data to third parties
• We do not use analytics or tracking tools

Permissions

Usage Keeper requests the following permissions:

• Storage — to save your usage data locally between sessions
• Alarms — to refresh your usage data every 5 minutes in the background
• Notifications — to alert you when you reach 75% of your usage limit
• Access to claude.ai — to read your usage data using your existing session

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
